From space to screen. The merging of satellite technology and UX
The digital transformation of agribusiness with leading-edge UX and satellite technology.
Agricover, a leader in European agribusiness, is fully committed to revolutionizing agriculture in Romania. We joined forces to improve CROP360, an app featuring satellite technology to monitor crop progress, locate equipment, and plan future planting. Our redesign sharply focused on creating a customer-centric interface, simplifying farmer navigation, and driving substantial subscription growth.

Over our 6-month partnership, we focused on redesigning CROP360’s information architecture and overcoming several key challenges.
Farmers were intrigued by CROP360 but found the registration process too complex and often
abandoned it.
To address this, we redesigned the onboarding process to be more intuitive with a step-by-step approach. We also created a demo version to highlight the app’s benefits and let users explore its features more easily.
A standout feature of CROP360 is its GPS functionality, which requires a subscription. The process was neither user-friendly nor straightforward.
To improve the user experience, we redesigned the subscription and GPS license process to be as simple and accessible as possible. Additionally, we introduced alert banners and notifications to keep users informed and engaged.
Agricover aimed to simplify farmers' tasks by mapping their crops, equipment, and future planting, but this core mission wasn’t immediately clear.
To help users quickly grasp the benefits of CROP360, we redesigned the user experience around the agricultural map, improving map controls for better visibility and access to crop details, equipment, and tasks.
The CROP360 website’s navigation was confusing and unintuitive, which led to a frustrating user experience and discouraged engagement.
To address this, we completely revamped the site’s information architecture. This redesign also included a dashboard, giving farmers a clear, comprehensive overview of their farms.
To fully understand the app’s shortcomings, we evaluated its performance across seven crucial user experience categories and pinpointed key areas for improvement.
Through these systematic improvements to Agricover's CROP360 project, including a more intuitive design and reimagined critical workflows, we transformed the customer journey significantly.
In line with our unwavering commitment to strong partnerships, we've also established a Design System to support the ongoing development of the project.
Our strategic approach, including a thorough UX audit and detailed flow diagrams, allowed us to quickly grasp the system’s structure and tackle project challenges effectively. We created wireframes and an interactive prototype, which we tested with farmers to gather actionable feedback and refine the design before development.
By fostering teamwork through workshops and work sessions, we aligned the team around a shared vision, creating a user experience that truly resonates.
